The AOW diver certification allows you to dive deeper and in more challenging conditions. The class involves 6 dives total, half of which are conducted in Florida's freshwater springs, and the last half are completed in south Florida in the Atlantic Ocean. We use charter boats in Jupiter and West Palm, FL, to take us to the warm, clear waters of the Gulf Stream, not but a few miles off shore. These currents make for excellent drift diving, and attract all kinds of incredible creatures. 

Course cost: $800 which includes:

• 6 dives involving new skills and new environments (over 3 or 4 days of training)

  • Some of the specialties we touch on are: deep diving, navigation, night/low visibility, boat diving, drift diving (sometimes wreck diving and shore diving, conditions depending)​

• Site entrance fees to local springs

• Online e-learning course for self-study before class begins

• Certification card and registration

Does NOT include:

• Boat fees (student rate dependant on dive charter)

• Scuba equipment & additional gear needed for class (such as an SMB)

• Travel / lodging
